The Perry Bible Fellowship: Amazingly wicked!
Alright, so I read a _lot_ of comics. All sorts – webcomics, graphic novels, newspaper strips – you name it. Every once in a while, I come across something which makes me go “Oh! This is _PURE EVIL_!!” Example: The Perry Bible Fellowship. Apparently,
The Perry Bible Fellowship is an Eisner-winning comic strip drawn by Nicholas Gurewitch.
It was once published on a weekly basis for publications like the UK Guardian, and the Baltimore City paper.
which is really incredible seeing how disturbing and absolutely-not-for-children this strip tends to be. The drawing and detailing involved is superb. The author’s wit shines through in every strip. Also, the author doesn’t follow a set drawing style, making each strip unique. Here are a couple of my favorites:
Bee
Psychoanalyst
Automatic Business
Kitty Photographer
Hard Read
Atlantis
Yes, the PBF is a classic! Unfortunately for us, it doesn’t print anymore. But we can still go through the archives and have a great time right?
I just read the Perry Bible Fellowship and it is amazing! I read the entire archives in one go! it is awesomeeeeeeee!
Hey this is good!
